NOTE: Most of the air quality information above is derived from a national monitioring network that does not have widespread coverage and concentrates on ozone & other pollutants. Wildland Fire Smoke is not captured  very well. The BEST way to monitor smoke is via webcams. If it looks hazy, it's probably not good air quality.
Next best is using your senses, if you can smell it or taste it, the air quality is not good.
