Avalanche Weather Forecasting Module from COMET

This is an on-line educational module produced by the COMET® Program
(Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology, Education and Training), a part of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR). This module was designed for meteorologists in need of
guidelines into the process of forecasting weather for avalanches. This module is also an excellent resource for basic avalanche education. Meteorologist Jim Woodmencey was the Principal Science Advisor for this project. Dave Linder (UCAR meteorologist) was the Project Lead and Marianne Weingroff was the Instructional Designer.
